Extension Florence County would like to welcome Leighton Lambert as the 4-H Youth Development Summer Intern for the 2024 season. As part of her position, she will be assisting with the Food, Fun, and Fitness Program along with the Outdoor Adventure Program. Leighton looks forward to getting all the experience working with different age levels and working through any challenges that may occur. She is also excited to spend lots of time in the sun at Outdoor Adventure and enjoying it as much as the kids will. 

Leighton resides in Florence, WI and graduated from Florence High School. She is committed to the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and will be playing college softball. She plans on majoring in Chiropractic with a minor in business. Leighton is also a busser at a local restaurant, Annie’s Trading Post. Outside of work Leighton enjoys reading, working out, cooking food and baked goods as well as spending time with friends and loved ones. Leighton is looking forward to her time as a summer intern at UW-Extension and all the memories she will make this summer.
